The Amazing Drumbo is Thomas Jackson Cooley.

Beginning at age thirteen, Thomas played and taught himself drums for about five years.  After seeing Buddy Rich play live he remembers coming home saying “How did he do that?”  He studied for the next 6 years with Mike Shively, in Ft. Wayne learning material passed down from Roy Knapp, famed teacher of Louie Bellson.  During this time, he learned to read and developed a proficiency in style playing swing, latin, jazz, classical, blues, and rock.  Thomas has spent forty years performing in studios, theatrical productions, and on club and concert stages coast to coast.

Thomas currently resides in Ft.Wayne, IN where he spends his time in his very own “Studio B” writing and recording with various artists.
